DOS
AND
DON'TS
IMPORTANT:
You
should read this before selling your home.
In
order to sell your property
fast on the off market requires dealing with property
buying companies, however it is unfortunate that some
property buying companies do not act in an ethical and
transparent manner. To date, many of these companies have
tainted the good work done by the few upstanding
companies in the market place.
SpeedySales© is
here to provide you with the outcome of a win-win
scenario. We make the process of selling your house fast,
off market, a satisfying experience. As a transparent
company with an ethical ethos we are obligated to provide
you with the tools you need to know in order to deal with
property buying companies. Below is a list of Dos and
Don'ts to assist you in your decision when dealing with a
property buying
company.
DO...
... make sure the company you
go with run through all the costs of providing their service to
you. After exhausting all the options available if they have
not mentioned that they will make an offer below market value
then be wary of them. An offer should be made free of cost or
obligation.
...
make sure the
company has your best interest at heart. The solution to your
situation is not always to sell your property
quickly.
...
make
sure the company is
sensitive to your needs. Not only that prior to their
final offer they must be willing to come out to visit you
to build rapport and experience your situation first
hand. Never sell to someone over the
phone.
... speak to advice agencies
ie CCCS (debt problems), Citizen
Advice Bureau before speaking with companies like
ourselves. This way you can arm yourself with the right
information when speaking to them. The company must be prepared
to listen to your situation and provide tailored options that
are beneficial to both
parties.
... stay away from "Cowboy"
companies. One way to make sure they can buy your property is
to ask for POF (Proof Of Funds) before committing to selling
your house quickly. This can be a letter from their accountant
or solicitor saying they have the funds available to buy your
house
fast.
...make sure the
company's offer is genuine. Some companies will not want
to buy your property after realising there is nothing in
it for them and accordingly make a low offer as a way of
getting out of buying your property. We here
at
SpeedySales©
will not just
make you an offer, we are the real deal, we won't do that. We
will explain why we cannot proceed so that you understand and
in turn seek alternative
solutions.
